Making the Move

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I’m gonna take you all the way back to June 12th, the day the moving van came and emptied our Montreal apartment of its contents. There’s much to say about moving day barreling towards you, but I’ll tell you all I felt was some slight anxiety followed by “holy shit, I’m not packed yet!” Didn’t help that we were out until 4am the night before (thanks for the Thrustday Brutopia guys). In any case, they showed up early but we managed to cram everything in boxes. Our last box contained the shower head, a bath mat, and a bottle of Shout of all things.

The guys that moved us were a couple of awesome and hilarious hard-working Newfies. Just two of ‘em!

New Blog

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

I’ve decided to start a blog. Sure, lots of people start blogs, but this isn’t intended to be one of those popular/famous blogs about politics and current events. Moving across the country (again) means I’m away from my family and the awesome friendships I’ve made. Unlike my last move to Edmonton, this time I’m sticking around here (weather’s too good). In hopes of keeping those back home up to date with what I’m up to these days, this blog was created.

It’ll take me a couple days to figure out all the details, but once it’s up and running you can expect regular updates. So stay tuned, bookmark it, RSS it, whatever you want.
